Two weeks ago, I was assigned an English project in the spirit of Henry David Thoreau, author of Walden, a series of essays ranging from economics to lifestyle. What Thoreau did, for those of you who don't know, was, in the 1800's, he went to live by Walden Pond near Concord MA. He built himself a shack, costing him a total of $28.12 and lived off the land for two years.
Well, today was the first day of school. You may be thinking it foolish of me to start a site and blog on such a day as this. And I wouldn't blame you; I think so, too. But, in my defense, I have a lot of zeal and enthusiasm for this now, so I figure I should put this site together (or at least start to) while it is still an idea that interests me and while I have time. Also before I completely forget about it.
Sometime this weekend, I hope to put up some of pictures that I've already taken. Like I have a lot of interesting shots from my family's camping trip to the Adirondacks in New York from last year's April break. Maybe some from China, Italy, or India, too, if I can find them. |
